通識教育中心

Center Introduction

Organizational Structure

Center of General Education , under the Office of Academic Affairs, is a second-level administrative unit responsible for the university's "general education curriculum and the formulation of general education development directions," as well as "reviewing the planning and implementation of general education courses across the university."

The center has one director who oversees all center operations and several staff members responsible for the execution of these operations.

General Education Philosophy

The university's educational goal is to cultivate professionals in the health industry who possess both "technical expertise and humanistic concern," as needed by society.

Center of General Education plans the university's general education curriculum within the framework of vocational education, using "Humanism and thinking," "Reflection and care," "Creativity and expression," and "Science and logic" as the core competencies of the general education curriculum. These competencies, together with professional field courses, form a multidisciplinary learning network, playing a balancing role between the technology and humanities fields.
